For the past year or so, the A Few Forgotten Women team have been working on a book. This is a multi-authored compilation combining aspects of women's history with case studies. We are very excited to let you know about our launch offer which is available for the month of October 2026 only. History is filled with women. They were present at every stage of life, shaping families, communities and the world around them. They worked cared, created, struggled, survived and adapted

Our 13th Forgotten Women Friday collaborative research project will be on 25 September, when we will be looking at women who lived in the Suffolk village of Herringfleet in 1881. This is the first of four planned Forgotten Women Fridays, that will take place over the next few years, researching the lives of women living in communities at different points of England and Wales.
