Written Sideways a sensitively written poem for International Women's Day by Margaret Roberts, which epitomises what A Few Forgotten Women aim to do.

On International Women’s Day we celebrate the pioneers, the firsts, the women whose names are already carved in stone. But here at Few Forgotten Women, we spend our time with those whose names were pencilled lightly, sometimes almost rubbed away. This poem is for them. And, says Margaret, 'If I’m honest, for those of us who go looking for them.' Click on the image above to read the poem.
