A Few Forgotten Women Out and About

Our team can be spotted in the wild this month. Tomorrow, for International Women's Day, we are mounting a small display at the Alfred Gillett Trust in Street, Somerset, where there will be a talk on Forgotten Women. Then on 16 March you can find us at the Family History Show which is being held at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern. Most of our team will be there, look out for us with branded fleeces or more subtle badges. As you may know, we live in different parts of England and some of us have never met in person. With ten of the twelve of us attending this event it will be our largest collective gathering yet, so we are very excited. Do come and say hello. We don't have a stand of our own but four of us are multi-tasking on the Devon Family History Society stand, so you should find at least one of us there. Keep an eye on our What's On page for other events. We will soon be announcing further details of next month's Forgotten Women Friday and looking for volunteers.
