Thank you to all those who took part in last week's Forgotten Women Friday, when we researched women who worked for the Post Office. Some lovely stories are starting to come in. Our volunteers are finding that working for the Post Office often ran in families. The first stories are those for Caroline Emma Chester, Caroline Henrietta Kelsey, Jane Large, Kate Redfern and Martha Walter. We have also received some shorter stories that will be uploaded later. All the Post Office stories can be found here.
In addition, we have some more Ulster Linen Industry stories, which can be read here. Please meet Mary Dynes, Sarah McKeown, Mary Jane Dickson and Lizzie White.
