Today we bring you the detailed account of the lives of the Clothier sisters, Rhoda and Hilda, who were pupils at The Mount School, in York. It tells the story of this Quaker family, Rhoda's work for the pacifist movement and her eventual allegiance to the Christian Scientists. Hilda was a nurse with the Voluntary Aid Detachment and both sisters travelled abroad. They are part of a network of interrelated Quaker girls whose stories we will be adding over the coming months.
