The stories from the Forgotten Women Friday focussing on women born in 1819 are coming in thick and fast and we will be uploading more soon; thank you very much to all the volunteers. Today though, we have added a mixture of stories from previous Forgotten Women Fridays, or stand-alone stories.
Firstly, many apologies to Alice Kilkenny, whose story has been lurking in the bowels of the website for two years but has never had a link or been announced. She was part of the cohort of women from St. Joseph's Reformatory.
Next two more women from Dorchester Prison, Julia Denbeigh and Mary Ann Guppy. Please be aware of the trigger warning on Julia's story, Then there's Jane Burridge, who was one of the Clark's employees and finally, two stand alone stories are those of Anna Eliza Rix and Honor Bunn. Honor is included with the women born in 1819 but was not from Wem or Wells.
