Five New Stories are Added

We have been trying to catch up on the few biographies that are outstanding from earlier Forgotten Women Fridays, before we launch into the next one. We've have added a real mixture today.

You can now meet Mary Brown and Rose Howard, who spent time in inebriate reformatories, Maria Louisa Buckley, who attended Cheshire Teacher Training College and Hilda Marsh from the Grange School of Housewifery. We have also added Maria Bindon's stand-alone story, that formed part of the presentation that we gave at the Alfred Gillett Trust or International Women's Day.
